I installed Ubuntu 8.1 on Lenovo T500. It is randomly crash too. If ubuntu 9.04
after crash can save report (Alt+SysRg+1, t) and can be rebooted by
(Alt+SysRg+RSEIUB) than ubuntu 8.1 just crash with blinking CapsLk.
Ubuntu 8.1 can be rebooted only by switch of power (Press and hold power
button
I can add that this error very often happen if computer was idle for
awhile. But It is not error screensaver, I turned off it.

Look like linux jaunty not stable on Lenovo T500 notebook. I installed it on
another notebook (Lenovo T500 too) and even clear installation have same
problems.
here kernel logs from second computer. I did several times Alt+SysReg +1 t for
several crashes.

yesterday night i reinstall jaunty. I installed Alpha3 with hope that back will
disappear. But It is not.
Now I have system by default except: I removed games, and install: CompizConfig
Setting manager, and Gnome SWF player.
