Don't worry about -dbgsym or gdb, apport is written in Python. The problem here is in backends/packaging-apt-dpkg.py, _get_mirror(); it grabs the first deb line out of /etc/apt/sources to determine the mirror to download Contents.gz from. This needs to be fixed to only consider http:// URLs. ** C
