I have also this bug with Evolution. Labels are not remembered and I use also
an IMAP server. I use it to sort Launchpad questions I answered. Perhaps
importance is low. It will simply means I will lost some of threads I'm
supposed to help in Launchpad, by removing them accidentally.
Could you

mails.
To confirm I tried setting labels with Thunderbird too, with the same
problem ha

Hi
I can confirm the issue is also with Ubuntu 8.10 Gutsy and Evolution 2.24.3
and can reproduce it.
1. In the inbox, select some mail and label them.
2. Go to another folder that has not been looked at recently. This will
check the imap server for new mail in that folder
3. If new mail is del

If I shutdown my computer and start the computer again and start

If I switch from
could you describe how to trigger the issue? what imap server do you
use?

Evolution 2.24.3
Ubuntu Release 8.10 (intrepid)
Kernel Linux 2.6.27-11-generic
GNOME 2.24.1
Same problem. After restarting evolution the labels like "personal" or
"work" are lost in my imap mail box. Does anybody know how I can fix
this?
