Confirming o2 pay-and-go Mobile Broadband works if you manually set up
with
number: *99#
username: o2bb
password: password
APN: m-bb.o2.co.uk
PPP Settings > Authentication set to use PAP only.
Can we get these options added to the default list?

I can confirm the username o2bb with the password of "password" works
fine.

I have the same connection, and found the username "o2bb" works fine.
No need to use phone number.
Profile name needs to be distinct from the other O2 service; something
like O2 Pay-as-you-go Mobile Broadband would be appropriate.

** Description changed:
+ This bug requires a database format modification for receiving phone
+ number as username. Please use nm-connection-editor in the meantime.
+
Binary package hint: mobile-broadband-provider-info
O2 (UK) sell pay as you go mobile broadband. The modem reports itself
No, there's currently no way to handle this other than setting the
password manyally from nm-connection-editor.
This should be taken into consideration when the next database format is
being developed. Actually all that is needed is some magic string in
password field like:
###phonenumber
L
I cannot provide a patch for this, as the username for Pay as You Go is
the telephone number. Is this possible to handle here??
