This has been fixed in PyKaraoke CVS today: unicode filename support was broken by some user contributions. This will be rolled into a PyKaraoke v0.7.3 release, but meanwhile is available from Sourceforge CVS while testing takes place. -- scanning dialog does not close https://bugs.launchpad.net/
