It is the bit editor actually. You should be able to turn it off, using
ctrl + e, or using View and then un check the "Show bit editor".

I just noticed, when I hit ctrl + D at the bottom it says "Bit editor
activated. Click on bit values to toggle them" and if I haven't added
anything you can click and toggle them. I'm not sure what this purpose
is but apparently it IS a feature...I think it just needs to be more
clear on how to tur
Cannot reproduce, I don't see numbers like this not even in scientific
mode nor by pressing CTRL d.
