I don't understand. If it doesn't get used at runtime, how can it appear
in a kontact crash backtrace?

That bug would be completely valid, if libkorganizerprivate.so wasn't a
link to libkorganizerprivate.so.4.[1|2].0 that doesn't even get used at
runtime.
