fixed issues with printers not getting correctly installed via
Plug'n'Print but working correctly with manual installation. After the
update remove your print queue(s) and re-plug the printer. If after that

I was also having this problem. After connecting the printer's usb
cable, it was autodetected and added but when I tried to print a test
page, the gnome cups queue browser would say something like "Printer may
not be connected". The cups error log didn't really have anything of
note. To fix it, I r
I've just installed the .deb from jaunty under intrepid with amd64 -
this fixed it for me. Previously the modell was not available in the
printer database, now it is and it works fine.
Perhaps the final could also go into intrepid-updates or backports?
