bug #275423 describes several and different problems. I think it is
better and more clean to keep this bug open and have it properly linked
to upstream bug http://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=12068

I had the same issue, and after upgrading to latest version of ath5k, it
disappear.
So thats really a duplicate of the bug #275423
