Interesting, it looks like debian disabled that. We could override
their change but I'm curious why they changed it...
Anyway, until we know that I'm not comfortable making that change.

already broken in
previous releases, I can't remember when the regression was introduced, but
at least
Ubuntu-8.04.1 was also affected. I initially reported
