Public bug reported: Binary package hint: compiz
There is a bug in the Compiz window manager that lets you resize a window so that it goes under the gnome-panel, and then you cant see the window decorator (title bar), so you cannot move it, you cannot minimize it, close it, etc. In Metacity, if you pick the upper-left corner, and resize it, it stops when you reach the gnome-panel, and wont let you resize more. In Compiz, if you pick the upper-left corner, and resize it, then you can resize it so it overlaps the gnome-panel, when you release the mouse button, then you have an application which its title bar is hidden under the gnome-panel. ** Affects: compiz (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Compiz allows you to resize windows under gnome-panel https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/302440 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
