I can understand how not being able to play a DVD could be frustrating.
However, due to licensing issues, Ubuntu cannot install all media codecs
by default. Please read the restricted formats page on the Ubuntu
community documentation page (
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/RestrictedF
give no give no problems.
