This has happened on my Intel X86 Pentium 4 Processor with 756 MB RAM. I
am trying to Install Ubuntu from my USB Thumb drive.

I can confirm this on AMD64 architecture as well - system was an AMDx2,
1GB RAM. This was a friends PC, so I don't have all the HW details, but
I will update once I can get the info.
This install was attempted w/the Desktop CD (AMD64 arch). We
downloaded/burned twice to be sure, and CD's passed me
