There's been no movement on this upstream. I really don't want to have
to maintain this patch with every Ubuntu upgrade. Could this patch be
added to the Ubuntu package?

1) Does that mean Ubuntu is not interested in patching this in the package?
2) Why is it that I don't see Triaged as an option. Am I doing something wrong,
