Can you please run 'puppetmasterd --debug --trace' and paste the output? I'd be
surprised if the xmlsimple issue was the actual cause of any crash, and indeed
from the above message it's not clear that puppetmaster has actually crashed.
If all this is is just a warning, this is a purely cosmetic
I can confirm this on intrepid. For me puppet runs, but I get the same
warnings. The problem seem to be correlated to the symlink
/usr/lib/ruby/1.8/lib/xmlsimple.rb => ../xmlsimple.rb
dpkg -S dpkg -S xmlsimple.rb returns:
libxml-simple-ruby: /usr/lib/ruby/1.8/lib/xmlsimple.rb
libxml-simple-ruby:
Same problem with version 0.24.5-2 from jaunty.

hacer) :
./configure
dh_make
sudo checkinstall
To Temporary solution (como solucion temporal).
