Davíð have you checked if the "mute light on after resume" still
persists in Karmic? I own the same laptop as you and haven't had the
problem.

Thanks for providing the above info, can you please also attach the following
as requested at DebuggingACPI:
Tarball of /proc/acpi directory. You can't just tar all files because their
content sometimes changes etc.
cp -r /proc/acpi /tmp
tar -cvjf ~/acpi.tar.bz /tmp/acpi
And then attach th
