Unfortunately, the upstream source of HPLIP 2.8.10 is broken and cannot
be released as a package without a patch from HP. See bug 299011. As
soon as this problem is fixed the new HPLIP will get packaged.

the packaged hplip didn't support fast-draft printing with a c4380. In fact,
there was a choice box to set it, but it had no effect.
I had to compile the 2.8.10 from upstream to be able to use this feature.
