I can confirm this problem in 9.04:
Typing smb://servername in a nautilus windows location bar works. But
bookmarking this and trying to open the bookmark gives the error "No
application is registered".

don't expect so. The problem you mention in the report is an intended

Why do you think you cannot print because of this problem? Just set up
your printer using System->Administration->Printing.

Thanks for confirm this bug. I know the workaround, but the problem is:
Some app's can't impress on my printer 'cause of this problem, like:
- Firefox = not work
- Gedit = not work
- OpenOffice = Work

I was able to recreate this bug in 8.10. I can verify that the problem
does not exist in 8.04.1. In 8.04.1, running smb:// brought up the
nautilus network browser. The workaround is very simple. You should be
able to navigate your samba network through the nautilus File Browser or
