Hello guys,
I'm confirming a sort of this bug with recent Seamonkey 2.0 (General Release).
The trick was to enable the Enigmail add-on. Once enabled, Seamonkey begins
random and much of rapid segfaults while in "Mail & Newsgroups" mode. Actually

I can reproduce this bug all the time by doing the following:
In Navigator window, go to: http://www.theopensourcerer.com
seamonkey closes all windows and the error "segmentation fault" appears
in the terminal.
Will someone please attempt to also reproduce the bug and confirm?

Friends, I have now been able to reproduce the bug as follows:
1. launched by entering seamonkey into terminal prompt (as non-root) to
be able to track error messages.

Also, my
wife also reported the same thing happening while using Abiword. So, it
indicates to me that
this might not be a seamonkey specific problem. I am running a non-standard
ubuntu install

You could try to determine if the crash happens while SeaMonkey is
running a plugin, particularly Adobe Flash. This is a known issue, and
I recall reading about it a few months ago, either at the SeaMonkey
project site or at the MozillaZine forum. The browser crash is
triggered by a plugin bug, n
I suggest you to reinstall seamonkey from synaptic.
Also if you use any addons take a look at description. For example mnenhy on
mozilla.org
does not work well with seamonkey 1.1.12 but version 0.7.6 works well.
