standardized.

Hi,
I want to confirm this issue; my laptop is a Thinkpad X61 and brightness
control is not working with Intrepid Ibex (it worked in Ubuntu 8.04).

This also happens to me with exactly the same symptoms: slowly dimming,
unresponsive function controls, then brighten again on it's own without
any sort of user input or after a delay of a few seconds. This is on
different hardware: a Sony Vaio SZ1XP laptop.

thanks but there's no need to open a bug at launchpad if you already did
it in the upstream bug tracker, it only create extra work for the
