Hi Wagtongue, try to run this command in the terminal: alsamixer -Dhw pay attention to the "-Dhw" part. In the screen that shows up, DOUBLE check that the PCM volume is not set to 0. It seems that on some Intrepid installations it is inexplicably so. More so if you upgraded via the update manag
