I am having this issue myself as well. I am on Ubuntu 11.10 and the
mouse is practically unusable. I have been making due with a USB mouse
but this is no longer an option for me as I have 4 systems set up with
KVM and a dedicated monitor on one system, the one with the bluetooth.
Is there any fix

yesterday I upgraded my Ubuntu 9.10 to Ubuntu 10.10 and unfortunately my
bluetooth mouse (MX 900) shows now the described behaviour. With Ubuntu
10.04 the problems are there, too.
