Im trying to figure out how to get movies on my mini for a trip - the only
reason I bought it.
unfortunately, though I upgraded the ram and the disk it wont even play the
demo!

This happens with *.avi & *.mpg video.

Sorry, my comment was cheeky. I'm helping a few friends with their
ancient machines and usually a bit more ram seems to help them out a lot
but probably doesn't help a newer machine quite so much?
