There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and
your problem may have been fix
Same problem (on a gateway) and still around in the beta of 9.04. If
anyone wants logs I can post them; since Marc has I won't bother yet
unless someone wants another set.

Hi Marc,
If you're able to, can you get in a round of testing with Jaunty Alpha2
and confirm this issue is still present? I know the kernel team is
focusing on suspend/resume issues this cycle, so it would be good to
know if this still presists. Thanks.

By the way, my understanding is that the suspend and resume scripts
already switch to another terminal before suspending: /usr/lib/pm-
utils/sleep.d/00clear. So, in addition to switching to tty1, I also
stopped gdm: /etc/init.d/gdm stop. Finally, I issued the pm-suspend
command and the machine stil

If you remove X from the equation (ie suspend from a tty), does this
