Latest Jaunty rt kernel don't incur in that issue so i marked that bug
as "Fix released".

OK, this is much better with linux-image-2.6.27-4-rt, but during a
stress-test (recording from firewire+compiling some code, all under
powersave mode), this happened :

OK, don't dig up too deep, I found out that I have an issue with udev
when no CD is in the CD tray. I will make further tests with -rt next
week-end.

Thanks for the tip I tried your PPA, and the kernel works much
better :). I am able to achieve about the same latency than what I got
with ubuntu 8.04 (will test next weekend with firewire).
There are are still error messages :
