Why is this "won't fix"? It makes using my Dinovo bluetooth keyboard
very annoying.
Maybe someone could quickly explain how to fix it. ("by adjusting a
kernel parameter to hidd"?)

How can you change the status won't fix. The only keymap in keyboard
preferences is USA Intl w/ AltGr Dead Keys. Bluetooth keyboards are not
affected by the keyboard preferences the same way other keyboards are..
That is a pretty major bug, that violates least-surprise in about every
possible way.
There is another on going discussion as to what the default behavior
should be for apple wireless keyboards. This can be adjusted by a
kernel parameter to hidd.

actually scratch the bit about the default keys not working, alt+f2
works, you just need to hold fn+alt+f2.. thanks apple.
