Hello Lucas,
You can find your Canon Mp110 driver at:
http://zedonet.com/en_p_turboprint_driver.phtml?&mfg=Canon
You can then print with it but if you can scan I can't tell.

Note that this is an old bug report.
Generally, there are many Canon printers which are not supported
directly be the drivers which come with Ubuntu and therefore proprietary
drivers from Canon are often the only solution.
The missing support is not a bug of Ubuntu, converting to a question ...
Lukáš Chmela, thank you for reporting this bug and helping make Ubuntu better.
Please execute the following command, as it will automatically gather debugging
information, in a terminal:
apport-collect 292205
As well, please attach all relevant information noted in:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Debug
Working solution for lots Canon printers and multifunctions is described here:
http://ubuntuportal.com/how-to-install-canon-printer-driver-for-linux-ubuntu/
All Canon printer drivers also will be included into official Baltix GNU/Linux
software repository - http://ftp.akl.lt/Linux/Baltix/Baltix-U
I'm afraid this solution doesn't work a long ago.
I tried to download packages from the japan page many times, but I think
links on that page were broken or something similar. Also solutions with
the APT line didn't work for me. I tried adding the APT line again now,
but it again didn't work.

See https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cups/+question/28851
for how to easily set up this printer.

I'm sorry for my mistake.
The driver, I posted link for, is for the Canon PIXMA iP1000.

Finally, I solved this problem myself.
I found another driver on:
http://www.drivehq.com/file/df.aspx/publish/laosboyme/PublicFolder/IP-PixmaDriver.tar.gz
It is a PIXMA MP1000 driver, but it works great with my PIXMA MP110.
I had to install it by dpkg using --force-all, becouse those packages,
