HoFa, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any
activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? If
so, could you please test for this with the latest development release

I also am having major problems after upgrades. OpenVPN is broken and
AT&T wireless card no longer shows up in NM pop up. All was working
fine before upgrade :-(

I did a clean install also , network connection icon comes up but no internet.
Same error message:

I tried a clean install of Intrepid from the final ISO, the Network
Connection worked initially but upon upgrading the kernel through Update
Manager, the next reboot rendered the Network not working. While not
returning a specific error that I can ascertain, it would not work in
