I had this same behavior. I worked around it by deleting my feeds
cache. Works fine after that.

Thanks, that's what we needed. I've marked this triaged. Now we just
need a developer to take a look at the backtrace. This report is
probably ready to upstream to KDE now but I'll take a look this evening.

I did a "sudo aptitude install kdepim-dbg" and repeated the process.
This time it did not crash the first time it fetched feed (automatically
on start). I had to push the fetch all feeds button and it crashed with
the debugging symbols attached. Hope this helps.

Yes it does. For instance:
* I start Akregator.
* Akregator starts fetching feeds.
* I stop feed fetching befo
