The exactly same problem with libmozjs.so occurs when Help -> Help
Contents is tried on eclipse on lucid. See Bug 580287. It occurs both on
the OpenJdk-6-jre and the Sun JRE version: 6.0_20-b02 at the same spot.
Both current versions of xulrunner - 1.9.1.9 & 1.9.2.3 seem to have the
problem under l
I found that I had several versions of libmozjs.so from different
installs of xulrunner.
dan...@laptop ~ $ find /usr/ -name libmozjs.so -ls

/usr/lib/xulrunner-1.9.2.3/libmozjs.so

I have the similar problem after updating to 10.04.
Don't know if this helps, but: this occurs only on my Asus 1005HA-H with 32-bit
Ubuntu.
On my other PC (Desktop with 10.04 - 64 bit, I'll post exact configuration if
necessary),
I don't have this problem.

I had a similar problem with "libmozjs.so.0d"
Eclipse requires libxul0d which requires xulrunner.
These are version 1.8. There is a xulrunner 1.9 available in the repos.
I installed it.
I copied the new libmozjs.so file from the /usr/lib/xulrunner-1.9.0.11
into /usr/lib/xulrunner

Is Hardy Heron LTS (Long Term Support) not supported anymore?
I have identical crash problems on Hardy Heron 64-bit.
