To be more precise: After the "sudo update-apt-xapian-index" I can now
see all the packages when I use ADEPT MANAGER. I still cannot see them
in ADEPT INSTALLER. This is rather confusing: by mistake I start the
adept installer instead of the adept manager, and wonder why I cannot
find packages.
The same workaround works for me too.I have had the same problem on
3 different computers.

After "sudo update-apt-xapian-index" all of the packages are finally displayed.
Until a fix is released, this is a good solution for me.

Adept Manager is in the System category of the menu, but that's not

Oh, and as a workaround for this bug running "sudo update-apt-xapian-

I can confirm this problem. Adept 3.0 cant show any packages from Third
Party software reporitories. When I update the sources within Adept 3.0,
Third Party software reporitories will be ignored too.
Through the console, I can update & install from Third Party software

In my experience it does, but only after the xapian index has been
rebuilt, which doesn't happen very often since that takes a bit of time.
It probably should be rebuilt after modifying the sources.list through
the sources editor though.
