I didn't experice a hard crash anymore. But the screen gets after 1-2sec
black while audio is continuing. I found out that this is forced by
randr deamon. When I disable this Deamon via Systemsettings, video is
playing nicely. So I change the bug subject.

As i have a kubuntu intrepid beta5 cd i can say in this version video is
playing fine. After upgrade to itrepid latest video is broken with
xserver crash.
