Jesus! 5 minutes after my previous post a got an update of evolution
from the repositories that fixed it! That's efficiency hahaha! ;-)

I have the same problem with 8.10. I tried a new user (The Guest one) as
you suggested Pedro but no luck.
When setting the account up, It is strange that for the IMAP password it
asks you if you want to save it, but for the SMTP password only asks you
if you want to save the password for the sessi
thanks for the reprot, that works fine for me, can you re create that
with another new user created on your system? it seems that you're
having issues with that account for preserving the settings (re bug
285783).
