USB storage. Not sure what I did (maybe updates) but not it always is
detected as USB storage and no Internet :(

Similar issue here. U727 recognized under Hardy, not recognized
properly under Intrepid. It seems that the USB storage side works well

I am still get the same error for Novatel U727 in the latest 2.6.27-7.13
kernel. Also the card is not recognized and the airprime driver is not
present in the modules directory. One weird thing that I noticed is that
the restricted modules package is still 2.6.27-7.12 !

Forgot to mention: When running with 2.6.27-7 I can only get CDMA
connections very intermittently. 90% of the time the NetworkManager does
not seem to recognize the card and does not seem to start a connection.
