I know that rarian-compat and scrollkeeper conflict with one another
as they provide the same service. I also realized the the upstream of
scrollkeeper isn't maintained hence ubuntu is thinking or using
rarian-compat and I see no problem with that as well.

Shirish, I'm sorry but I'm not sure to understand what the problem is
here. Is it that scrollkeeper is removed when you're installing rarian-
compat and can't install both ?

Thanks. There's no evidence of what has failed is this log. Can you
please attach the file /var/log/apt/term.log . You need to have root
privileges in order to read that file.
