I'm not aware of a native driver in 8.04. For that matter, I haven't
found one in 8.10 yet either. Also, if the problem is in ndiswrapper,
why does "iwlist scan" work?

doesn't for this card a native driver exist as well?
if that configuration worked in 8.04, I'd rather expect some changes in
ndiswrapper that cause this.
