Totem still is not working for WMF or MP4 but works fine with ASX and
FLV files. MPlayer Movie Player is OK with WMV and MP4 files.
I have the latest updates to GStreamer.

Same problem in Jaunty Alpha 3 watching a video on CBC News. I have an
Audiohub and oddly the usual ticking sound after a restart stopped at
the same time as he crash and the video and sound continued to work even
after the crash was indicated.
