Exactly same problem with a Dlink AirplusG+ DWL-G650+ wifi pccard involving an

I am not entirely sure. Occasionally, the kernel message is: wlan0: duplicate
address detected!
And no connection is established. I have to manually bring down the interface
then request a new address.

Network Manager Applet shows "No Network Connection" when all devices in
unmanaged mode (managed=true) ?

Recent updates have resulted in a consistent network connection, though the
network monitor is not working and displays no connection...I do have a
connection. During boot: starting network manager ok, then starting network
manager fail.
Shutting down is a major problem...firstly it goes to the
same here w/ kernel 2.6.27-6 and 2.6.27-7

After 5+ dhclient requests the nm-applet shows no connection, but an address is
assigned and dmesg:

subsequent boot with slightly different dmesg. Also subsequent boot
provided a message from network-monitor applet for the first
time..."wireless network available. Click here to connect" Attempted to
connect but no luck...no network data available from applet.
