Jockey shows both 173 and 177, I select 177, reboot -> everything listed
above works!

Bugs,
Close Jockey and Synaptics and type:
sudo apt-get remove nvidia-glx-*
sudo killall jockey-backend
sudo apt-get install nvidia-common
Then launch Jockey with the following command:
jockey-gtk
Let me know what happens.
