Hello again.
This has not fixed my problem, exactly the same thing happens again - the same
error occurs. I installed the package in terminal, and this is the resulting
writing:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ sudo apt-get install ubuntu-restricted-extras
sudo: unable to resolve host caleb-laptop
[sudo] p

Try installing the package: "ubuntu-restricted-extras"
This can be installed by using apt-get (in Applications -> Terminal):
sudo apt-get install ubuntu-restricted-extras
Or alternatively by Applications -> Add/Remove, and selected "All
applications", and searching for "Restricted extr
