im still with kubuntu 8.04.
i find it better than the most recent version of kubuntu.

There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and
your problem may have been fi
it appears to work now, but only after i eject the cd and put it back in.
before that all i have is that error message.
so the bug here is that whats been burned doesn't appear on the cd/dvd
until one has ejected it and put it back in.
its not a trivial bug.

When i try to open the cd the cd folder appears empty but with the
following error message at the bottom of the screen:

klauncher said "unknown protocol"
