the issue is not a nautilus one, the fstab line seems to be an installer
bug, could you try if that's still an issue using the intrepid candidate
image?

when I erase the line in /etc/fstab putting my hard drive as a cdrom and
try to mount it it works fine
this was on a clean intrepid install. or at least, nothing i installed
touched fstab

could you try to mount it using gnome-mount -v -b -d /dev/sda1 and
attach the log to the bug?

i am using the latest intrepid alpha with all the latest updates
i don't know how to use that program (i installed gvfs-bin) can you give
me the proper options?
also, to mount the HP_RECOVERY drive it asks me to authenticate against
policykit then spits out this error:
Unable to mount location

does gvfs-mount works fine? Which release of Ubuntu are you using?
