This is not a bug in dpkg, so reassigning to munge. I'm not sure why the directory doesn't exist, because /var/run/munge is shipped in the deb package (which is a bug in itself anyway). I propose that the creation and chown of /var/run/munge is left to the init script, similar to what has just hap
