Well, I have kernel 2.6.27-7-generic and device id 093a:262a Pixart
Imaging, Inc., but it doesn't work in Intrepid, even with v4l trick with
LD_PRELOAD. I tried many times to make it work but all my attempts was
unsuccessful. Cheese gives me no image, camorama says that can't load
image and skype s
Hrm, seems my ubuntu-intrepid git tree was a little out of date.
They've already pulled this patch in. You should be able to test as of
linux-image-2.6.27-6-generic . Setting this bug to "Fix Released" for
Intrepid.

Hi mumismo
A patch for this is already in the upstream kernel. I'll send an email
to the kernel team mailing list asking for this to be cherry-picked just
in case we are not able to rebase with upstream prior to kernel freeze.
