Alright, since you'd like to wait and test 9.04 instead, I'll close this
bug.
Btw, you can easily report bugs against the -ati driver via this command
from a terminal window:
ubuntu-bug xserver-xorg-video-ati
That will automatically include lspci output, log files, and other
necessary informat
maybe that works on 9.04 so lets wait because that was 8.10 bug. i start
testing if 9.04 reaches beta.

Sorry, needs to be done from the command line. Start Terminal and type:
lspci -vvnn
Then cut and paste what it prints out and put it in here. Sorry that
there isn't a GUI way to do it. Maybe we'll make a tool for it some
day.

lspci -vvnn ? what things are these and can it be done on desktop, no
command line to me. btw Ubuntu force load vesa driver (safe graphics
mode) ignores that bug and offical ati driver works.

Just ran a second integrity check on the CD, the ISO has the correct
md5sum and the CD 'check cd for defects' function reports the cd is
correct.
