This is still an issue in Jaunty with default Kernel and 2.6.30-rc3.
Btw. it is an acpi issue which happens under Win too so obviously it needs a
quirk.

Symptom: Battery state always reads 100%.

Tribe 5 still has the same problem. But I have read somewhere that
Windows has the same problem. It seems to be an acpi or design bug.
Maybe only a workaround is possible.

I've got a Vaio and discover the problem today while trying to make a
widget which display my battery state. The problem seems to be related
with ACPI. Indeed, here is my /proc/acpi/battery/BAT0/state when I'm
