A workaround seems to be to add two sets of addresses and then delete
the top one (which will have the erroneously saved mas address).

This is, however, a user-interface bug. It's something that
unnecessarily causes confusion, and as such, probably should be fixed.
Reopening, and marking confirmed as I've heard of other people having
problems with it.

The 24 means it is a 24 bit subnetwork, which is just another way of
saying 255.255.255.0.
