grub error 15 isn't grub2 Anyway either fix your /boot/grub/device.map so it has the disks in the right order or upgrade your grub2 to the jaunty version then UUIDs get used and you don't need to care anymore about device.map -- grub2 gives wrong information https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2679
