Would it not be a simple fix to the more "permanent" side effects of
this issue to limit the title of a document to something sensible like
512 characters?
As for the actual run itself, maybe the javascript interpreter could be
made to have a built in timeout of say 10 seconds (based on sigalarm

Running this script did not seem to cause similar problems in Firefox
2.0b1 on Ubuntu Edgy - aka Firefox 1.99+2.0b1+dfsg-1ubuntu3.
