There are no news. It was not working with 8.10. The machine is being used by a person who is new to Linux - that's why it is running a different distribution now, because this issue was a major blocker for the user. As I cannot contribute to this any more you can close this bug again. -- F-Spo

I now can confirm that this also affects F-Spot in 8.10. I did a clean install of 8.10 and I am using a clean F-Spot Library (f-spot-0.5.0.3-0ubuntu4). I now have 1,2 GB of RAM and a newer NVidia driver (96 series). What I observed so far: * slideshow doesn't work with Nvidia driver (neither with

The Key for get out of the slideshow mode is Esc, that works fine for me i don't have any issues and we don't have a report about that either. Which video card do you have and which driver are you using? May you give it a try with an Intrepid live cd? Did f-spot crashed with you get the log? there'

Thanks for the report, I'm testing f-spot (that's what i use for managing my photos too) with all my photos and the size of them are around ~3mb and it doesn't take that long to load the files, can you get a f-spot log? please run f-spot as: f-spot --debug &> f-spot-debug.txt and attach that file t
